Effectively immediately, and until further notice, suburban Cook
County residents may call 708-836-8600 or any of the CCDPH District
phone numbers listed below to make an appointment to receive the
H1N1 vaccine. Appointment lines are open M-F 8:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m.
CCDPH staff will schedule the appointment time and location for
residents.

All phone numbers listed are operational. Once you reach the
recording select the language of preference, and then select option
one to make new clinic appointment. Due to the high volume of calls,
you may experience a longer wait time. We ask that you be patient as
your call will be answered and you will receive an appointment.
Appointments are being made for residents of suburban Cook County
who are within one of the priority groups identified by the CDC to
receive the initial doses of vaccine including all pregnant women,
caretakers and household contacts of children under 6 months of age,
healthcare and emergency medical services employees, individuals 6
months to 24 years of age, and individuals 25 to 64 years of age
with underlying medical conditions, such as asthma or diabetes, that
put them at high risk for flu-related complications.

Currently, the DuPage County Health Department is scheduling
appointments for either the H1N1 injectable vaccine or the H1N1
nasal mist vaccine.
Due to limited supply and high demand of the H1N1 vaccine, they
will be scheduling appointments for those in the following priority
groups:
- Pregnant women
- People who live with or care for infants younger than 6
months of age
- Health care and emergency medical personnel
- Anyone from 6 months through 24 years of age
- Anyone from 25 through 64 years of age with certain chronic
medical conditions or a weakened immune system
As reported by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention,
more and more vaccine is becoming available on a regular basis.
Please be assured there will be enough vaccine for all DuPage County
residents who wish to become vaccinated.
