50th Anniversary Celebration

Your photos and memories can be part of the Village’s upcoming 50th Anniversary Celebration. Somewhere in the attic or buried deep in a closet or drawer, there may be a box of old photographs you would like to share as part of Hanover Park’s 50th Anniversary celebration. Photos and other memorabilia will be displayed at the Village Hall. Maybe you have a special memory such as your first trip to the first shopping center that opened. We are also trying to find out who has lived in Hanover Park the longest. Please let us know if you think it could be you.
Fifty years is a landmark date whether it is a person’s age, a wedding or business anniversary. It’s a time to celebrate!
Even if you don’t have those old photos or memories to share, give us your suggestions for what you would like to see as part of a year-long celebration. Please forward your suggestions to the Mayor's Office by calling (630) 372-4218 or email Kim Benedix, Executive Coordinator to the Village Manager.
Let us all show the pride we share and look forward to the next fifty years.

The Village will be celebrating its 50th Anniversary this year starting August 14 through August 17.  Check back here often as we update the information for this exciting event!
