Business Relocation

Prior to submittal of plans for any new business, a pre-application meeting must be scheduled with the Community Development Department to review specific requirements for the proposed business.  Remodeling plans must be submitted and approved by Community Development for all new businesses.  Separate sign permits are required for each business.  Business license applications can be obtained from the Village Clerk or by calling (630) 372-4223.

All final inspections must be approved prior to the issuance of a Certificate of Occupancy for the commercial or industrial space and Certificates of Occupancy must be issued before the business will be permitted to move into the building.  Permit and plan review fees vary, depending on the type of project.  Contact the Community Development Department at (630) 372-4260 for the permit fees for your specific project.
