Plan Review

Plans, specifications, and a current plat of survey are required for most building projects.  Permits for some home improvement projects can be issued while you wait.  Others require a plan review.  Plan reviews are required to determine if construction will meet Village codes.  Please consult the handout for your project, or Village staff, to determine what is necessary to apply for your permit.  A JULIE dig number is required for projects involving underground construction.  JULIE (or the Joint Utility Locating Information for Excavators) can be reached at (800) 892-0123.
