The CDC recommends face coverings when out in public.  

Those with questions or concerns about COVID-19 can call the Illinois Coronavirus Disease (COVID-19) Hotline at (800) 889-3931 or send an email to dphsick@illinois.gov anytime, 24 hours a day, seven days a week. For those planning to travel, visit CDC’s Coronavirus Disease Information for Travel site for the latest information.

The Village of Hanover Park encourages residents, particularly now, to Shop Local.  In addition to our business directory, we have produced a restaurant guide to show which restaurants and grocery stores are still open and how they are serving customers.  The dollars you spend in your community are reinvested in your community.  Please support local businesses.

United State Post Office

For online mail services, including the "Informed Delivery Digest" where the post office will send a picture of the outside of letters, reducing the need to touch your mailbox, please visit the United States Post Office’s online dashboard.

Illinois COVID-19 Response Fund

Governor JB Pritzker joined the United Way of Illinois and the Alliance of Illinois Community Foundations today to announce the launch of the Illinois COVID-19 Response Fund (ICRF), a new statewide fundraising effort to support nonprofit organizations serving those whose lives have been upended by this pandemic.

COOK COUNTY COMMUNITY RECOVERY INITIATIVE

Cook County has launched a comprehensive initiative to provide economic relief independent contractors (1099 workers), among others, in response to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Schaumburg Library Live

The Federal government has announced numerous assistance programs including Economic Impact Payments (tax rebates), delayed tax filing, expanded unemployment benefits, mortgage payment relief and suspended student loan payments. Financial Educator Karen Chan will show you how to maximize the benefit you get from these options, based on your individual situation. (Sometimes, it could even mean saying, “No, thanks!”) Plus, they’ll share best practices for managing bills, debt and savings during a crisis.  Also check their YouTube Channel for other recordings.

State Park Partial Re-Opening

To allow Illinois residents to engage in outdoor activities at our state parks, Illinois is opening the following sites beginning May 1st, provided that visitors comply with social distancing guidelines and general COVID-19 best practices.
