Market at the Metra is Tomorrow,  May 13!

This annual event is free and open to the public from 9:00 am to 2:00 pm. Hanover Park residents and neighbors will gather to sell their old treasures, handmade crafts, and new merchandise. In previous years, the vendors have included crafters of handmade jewelry, soaps, stationary, but also new and used items. It has been a great alternative to having a garage sale for families wanting to give a new home to their used toys, clothes, and miscellaneous household items. The antique and vintage item vendors also offer a variety of collectibles, costume jewelry and old barn finds. Many vendors also sell new goods such as household supplies, school supplies, socks, ties, and toys. Download the Flyer in Spanish

MLK Build Up Day

Join us as DuPage Habitat for Humanity partners with Hanover Park's Cultural Inclusion and Diversity Committee to continue Martin Luther King Jr's legacy of volunteerism. Together we will make an impact by painting fences and cleaning up the neighborhood. Ages 14+ welcome. Register to volunteer.

May Is Bike To Work Week

May is National Bike Month promoted by the League of American Bicyclists and is a chance to showcase the benefits of bicycling & encourage you to giving biking a try. 

Bike to Work Week 2023 will take place May 15-21 and Bike to Work Day is on Friday, May 19!
