The WBDC has offers satellite office hours at the Village of Hanover Park, at Village Hall, 2121 W Lake St, Hanover Park, EVERY 2nd Tuesday of the month between 10am - 3pm. Terrie Simmons of the WBDC will meet with you, at no cost, to discuss start-up and business expansion. She can help with Business Plans, sales projections, marketing, access to capital, expansion plans, structuring requests for financing, and more.     C.O.N.E.C.T. Committee On Networking Education and Community Teamwork C.O.N.E.C.T. serves as a representation of businesses in the community. Members provide valuable assistance in growth of economic development through creative strategies and feedback on business-related regulations. Our focus is to encourage business growth and economic development. Goal of C.O.N.E.C.T. is to serve as a business liaison, support economic development events, help businesses to network with each other and connect with the Village through annual networking opportunities. Local businesses are welcome to attend C.O.N.E.C.T. meetings to learn about ongoing Village activities. Meeting are held on the second Tuesday of each month at 12:30 p.m. in Room 214 of the Municipal Building.   4. Sister Cities Committee

    November 12, 2019, 7:00 PM - 8:00 PM @ Hanover Park Police Headquarters Community Room

    The Sister Cities Committee's functions are to promote, foster, and publicize local, state, and national Sister Cities Programs. The committee acts to foster international municipal cooperation through aid and education. Due to the generosity of residents, businesses and not-for-profit agencies, we have been able to forward several containers of goods to Cape Coast. Annually, the Sister Cities collects surplus school supplies from students of surrounding schools. In 2010 Hanover Park welcomed our second Sister City of Valparaiso, Zacatecas, Mexico. The Committee meets at 7:00 PM on the second Tuesday of each month, in the Community Room at the Police Headquarters, 2011 Lake Street. The Public is invited to attend.

  6. Development Commission

    November 14, 2019, 7:00 PM - 7:29 PM @ Hanover Park Village Hall

    The Hanover Park Development Commission is a public hearing body that makes recommendations to the president and the board of trustees. The Commission utilizes the Village’s Comprehensive Plan recommendations to provide long-term policy direction. It conducts public hearings on all petitions for zoning variations, special uses, planned unit developments, rezonings (zoning map amendments), and text amendments.   7. Healthcare Provider CPR

    November 16, 2019, 8:00 AM - 12:00 PM @ Training Room

    This course is designed to teach the skills of CPR to victims of all ages (including ventilation with a protective barrier device, the use of an AED, the use of a bag valve mask, and foreign-body airway obstruction). This class is intended for Healthcare professionals that work both in and out of a hospital setting, EMT students, nursing school students, childcare/daycare facility employees and DCFS participants. This class meets the requirements set by the American Heart Association, and is required to maintain most Professional Medical Licenses.

  8. Adjudication Hearing- Parking Tickets and Village Ordinances

    November 19, 2019, 2:00 PM - 4:00 PM @ Hanover Park Village Hall

    Beginning May 1, 2014, the Village of Hanover Park began utilizing an adjudication process for the mediation of all parking and local ordinance tickets. If you are a resident and receive a parking ticket, on the ticket is a hearing date should you wish to be heard in regards to the violation. Hearings are held at the Village Hall, 2121 Lake Street, Room 214. Simply report on the date assigned and check in with the clerk. If you are a Non-Resident of the Village you may waive your appearance and submit an affidavit stating the facts or reasons for contesting the ticket. These forms may be obtained at the Police Department front desk. Please be advised if the Adjudicating Judge determines you are liable then a $100 court fee will be assessed on top of the initial fine of the ticket. VEHICLE IMPOUNDS AND RED LIGHT CAMERA VIOLATIONS AT 2PM. ALL OTHER VIOLATIONS ARE SET FOR 2:30PM.

    November 26, 2019, 6:00 PM - 6:30 PM @ Hanover Park Village Hall

    The purpose of the Historical Committee is to promote educational, cultural, economic and general welfare of the community by ensuring the preservation of structures and properties that represent the cultural heritage of the Village of Hanover Park and of the community prior to the Village's incorporation. Projects include scanning of historic photo's, organizing of historic materials and artifacts and maintenance of two historic cemeteries and documentation of plots, including mapping.
