    Due to the high likelihood of rain, the event currently scheduled for September 12, 2020 from 8:30 AM - 11:30 AM has been rescheduled for September 26, 2020 from 8:30 - 11:30 AM. The registration information has been updated for your reference. Should there be inclement weather on September 26th, the event will take place on the following day, September 27th in the afternoon MLK Build Up Day Saturday, September 12th 8:30am – 11:30am 5540 Arlington Dr E, Hanover Park, IL 60133 DuPage Habitat for Humanity and Hanover Park’s Cultural Inclusion and Diversity Committee are partnering to continue MLK’s legacy of volunteerism by making an impact in the Greenbrook Tanglewood neighborhood.     Walk with Mayor Craig at Einstein School and earn an extra 1,000 steps for the Move With The Mayor Challenge. Register for the Challenge at www.hpil.org/HanoverParkMoveWithTheMayor. Join Hanover Park Mayor Rodney Craig's Move with the Mayor initiative to reduce heart disease and stroke by encouraging Hanover Park residents to "get up and get movin!" Hanover Park is challenging the communities of West Chicago, Bartlett, Glen Ellyn, and Glendale Heights to a step contest in the month of September. MOVE WITH THE MAYOR™ (MWTM) is a collaboration with the National Forum for Heart Disease & Stroke Prevention. Mayors encourage their communities to be physically active to lower their chances of heart disease and its risk factors like high cholesterol, high blood pressure, and diabetes.
