Fire Station 15
Fire Station 15 was completed in 2006 and is dedicated to former Village President Irwin Bock, who had been a volunteer firefighter in Hanover Park. Station 15 houses Fire Department Administration and six on-duty firefighter/paramedics.
Fire Station 15 was built to serve the community for many years to come. It was designed to address all aspects of fire suppression and emergency medical services including administrative offices, six apparatus bays, functional living quarters and a large training room. The station is equipped with technologically advanced equipment including efficient boilers, fiber optic cable, an exhaust collection system, traffic signal pre-emption, and an automatic call alerting system.
Station 15 houses Squad 15, Medic 15, Tower Ladder 15, Chief & Staff Vehicles, and Engine 17. In addition, Station 15 houses Hanover Park Rehab 15 which responds to Hanover Park and neighboring communities as part of a first-response automatic aid program, and Haz Mat 15 which is part of the MABAS State-wide deployable Hazardous Response Team.
