Temporary COVID-19 Test Site at Evangel Church- LAST DAY!!!

The State of Illinois is sponsoring a temporary COVID-19 Test Site at Evangel Church at 5700 Bartels Road, Hanover Park on Wednesday, August 19th through Friday, August 21st from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

• Simple nasal swabs will be used.
• You will be called with results within 4-7 days.
• No cost for testing.
• Bring your insurance card, but you can still be tested if you don’t have insurance.

Anyone can get tested! You don’t have to have symptoms or be sick.

Conducting 2020 Census Non-Response Follow-Up Interviews

Participation in 2020 Census interviews should present a low risk of transmission of COVID-19. Census takers are trained to rigorously and universally follow these CDC recommendations to mitigate risk of transmission:

• Wearing of face masks.

• Maintaining social distance of 6 ft. or more.

• Practicing hand hygiene.

• Not entering homes, and conducting interviews outside as much as possible or practical.

Household members encountered by census staff are encouraged to maintain social distances during interviews and practice the CDC’s other recommendations as much as possible.

We must make sure that you and everyone in our community is counted. Respond at  www.my2020census.gov.

The Illinois Housing Development Authority (IHDA) is offering help to renters who are experiencing difficulties due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Revised Village Hall Hours of Operation & Guidelines 

Hours: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday from 8:00 a.m.– 4:30 pm 

Closed on Wednesday. The Finance Counter at the Police Department will no longer be open beginning August 3rd.

Entrance to Village Hall: Main Front Entrance Only
Side and back entrances of the building (Doors 6 & 7) will be closed to the Public, except for emergency egress.

Visitors to Village Hall

1. All visitors MUST wear a face covering over their mouth and nose to enter Village Facilities.
2. Only one visitor at a time will be allowed at a Village counter.  Those waiting their turn must remain at the next social distancing floor maker. Children under the age of 18 can accompany a visitor
3. All visitors MUST practice social distancing by maintaining at least 6’ of physical separation from others. Floor marks will be installed at 6’ intervals in waiting areas to facilitate social distancing.  It shall be the responsibility of all Village employees to recognize and instruct visitors to comply with requirement.   
4. Visitors are encouraged to utilize hand sanitizer stationed inside the main entrance.
5. No public waiting will be allowed inside Village Hall except for those standing in line using the floor marking system.  All visitors in line move up one service line at a time to maintain social distancing.
6. Elevator usage is restricted to single occupancy. Children under the age of 18 can accompany a visitor.
