Tier 1 mitigations

Hanover Park Moves to Tier 1 Mitigations


The Illinois Department of Public Health (IDPH) has announced that all of Hanover Park (Region 8 & Region 10) has now been placed in  Tier 1 Mitigations.


Restricted Indoor Dining Permitted in Tier 1
Tier 1 Mitigations allow restaurants and bars to reopen for indoor service limited to the lesser of 25% or 25 persons per room, with no tables exceeding 4 people indoors.

The next step is moving from Tier 1 to Phase 4-
o Test positivity rate = 6.5% for three consecutive days (7-day average); AND
o Staffed ICU bed availability = 20% for three consecutive days (7-day average); AND
o No sustained increase in COVID patients in hospital (7-day average for 7 of 10 days)

Cook & DuPage Vaccination Registration


Both Cook and DuPage Counties offer registration options. The Cook County option allows for appointments to be scheduled while DuPage registration allows them to contact residents with information.

DuPage County Vaccine Registration- 
Signing up for DuPage County allows them to contact you with specific information when appointments or clinics are available. Please note: you will not be able to schedule an appointment until the time is right! If you want to register, please click here.

Online Comment Available for Village Board Meetings During Virtual Meetings


If you would like to comment online at the Town Hall session of the Village Board meeting while the Village Board continues with a virtual meeting format, please submit your comments online at: www.hpil.org/publiccomment

The Hanover Park Village Board meetings occur on the first and third Thursday of each month at 7pm. Individuals can attend in-person or the meetings are broadcast on Facebook Live so residents can also listen to the audio of the meeting. Once you are on the Hanover Park Facebook Page,  just wait for the broadcast to begin at 7pm. Be sure to "Like" us on Facebook.
