Restaurant Week


Participate in Hanover Park’s 2025 Restaurant Week!   

March 7 - 16, 2025

 

The Village of Hanover Park wants to encourage residents to explore the many delicious dining options available in their own community. Restaurant Week is a wonderful opportunity to promote and celebrate local food.

Please complete a participation form and submit your restaurant's logo (as a JPEG or PNG only) by Tuesday, February 4, 2025. If you have any questions, contact Community Development at CDevelopment@hpil.org or by phone at (630) 823-5780.

Why Participate?

In addition to Restaurant Week’s economic benefits, your business will enjoy Hanover Park’s marketing and  media exposure benefits for several weeks leading up to the event:

  • In print: The Hi-Lighter, the Village’s premier newsletter which is delivered to every household in Hanover Park, local newspapers, and partner newsletters.

Not sure what to offer during Restaurant Week?  Here are some simple ideas to offer customers:

  • Offer a certain % off all orders
  • Create Daily Specials at reduced prices
  • Offer a free dessert or free appetizer with meal orders
  • Have Buy One Get One Free offers on your menu
  • Create a special menu item available only during Restaurant Week

Minimum Wage Increase

Reminder:  Cook County Minimum Wage Increase

Effective Jan. 1, 2025


Beginning January 1, 2025 - the new law guarantees a minimum wage of $15.00 per hour for workers 18 years of age and older. An employer where gratuities/tips are paid to employees, may pay 60% of the minimum wage to its employees. For workers under age 18 and working less than 650 hours in a calendar year, the minimum wage has increased from $12.00 to $13.00 per hour. Employers may apply for licenses to pay sub-minimum rates to learners and certain workers with physical and mental limitations. Overtime must be paid after 40 hour of work per week at time and one-half the regular rate.

NLNW workshop

Next Level Northwest is a not-for-profit business accelerator program providing free coaching to help qualified businesses in the Northwest Chicagoland region. Next Level has supported several businesses across Elk Grove Village, Hanover Park, Hoffman Estates, Rolling Meadows, and Schaumburg. All graduates of the program have achieved significant growth in revenue, job creation, and facility expansion. Additionally, the leaders have gained tools and practices to ensure long-term success in their communities.
