  1. Adjudication Hearing- Parking Tickets and Village Ordinances

    December 1, 2020, 2:00 PM - 4:00 PM @ Hanover Park Village Hall

    Beginning May 1, 2014, the Village of Hanover Park began utilizing an adjudication process for the mediation of all parking and local ordinance tickets. If you are a resident and receive a parking ticket, on the ticket is a hearing date should you wish to be heard in regards to the violation. Hearings are held at the Village Hall, 2121 Lake Street, Room 214. Simply report on the date assigned and check in with the clerk. If you are a Non-Resident of the Village you may waive your appearance and submit an affidavit stating the facts or reasons for contesting the ticket. These forms may be obtained at the Police Department front desk. Please be advised if the Adjudicating Judge determines you are liable then a $100 court fee will be assessed on top of the initial fine of the ticket. VEHICLE IMPOUNDS AND RED LIGHT CAMERA VIOLATIONS AT 2PM. ALL OTHER VIOLATIONS ARE SET FOR 2:30PM.

  2. Village Board Meeting

    December 3, 2020, 7:00 PM - 9:00 PM @ Hanover Park Village Hall

    The meeting will start at 7:00 p.m. and continue until the agenda is completed. Regularly scheduled meetings are the first and third Thursday of each month. The Village Manager presents agenda items for discussion and approval for implementation before the President and Village Board. The President and Board of Trustees vote on the agenda items. All meetings are open to the public. Residents can address the Village Board with questions or concerns on issues not on the published agenda during the Townhall portion of the meeting. Residents who wish to address the Village Board during the Townhall Session must register with the Village Clerk prior to the start of the meeting.

  3. Santa Is Coming To Hanover Park

    December 4, 2020, 4:00 PM - 8:00 PM @ Metra Station - North Lot

    This year the Village of Hanover Park is welcoming the holiday season with a Santa procession throughout town with a virtual Tree Lighting Ceremony. While the traditional caroling and indoor posada community event will not take place, “Santa IS COMING TO HANOVER PARK”! On Friday, December 4, 2020 from 4-8 pm, Santa will be driving around town to wave a safe and socially distanced hello to Hanover Park families. Residents can follow the pre-planned route and a live GPS “Santa Tracker” our Facebook page. The Hanover Park Fire Department will escort Santa’s vintage car and alerting with their siren as Santa makes his way through Hanover Park. The traditional “Flip of the Switch” tree lighting ceremony will take place on December 4 at 7pm virtually via our Facebook page. All the lights at Village Hall, the pine trees decorated by community organizations and the lights along Lake St. & Barrington Rd. will be light up at once to be enjoyed throughout the season.

    This year the Village of Hanover Park is welcoming the holiday season with a Santa procession throughout town with a virtual Tree Lighting Ceremony on Friday, December 4, 2020 at 7pm. Join Mayor Rodney S. Craig and Village Clerk Eira Corral Sepulveda on Facebook Live! as they welcome the start of the holiday season with a Virtual Tree Lighting Ceremony. At 7 p.m. on Friday, December 4th, the Facebook Live video feed from Santa Is Coming To Hanover Park will cut over to Mayor Rodney S. Craig and Village Clerk Eira Corral Sepulveda as they "Flip the Switch" to light up the Hanover Park Village Hall Campus and all the street light decorations in Hanover Park. Just go to the Hanover Park Facebook page and watch the Facebook Live video at 7 p.m. This event is done in conjunction with the Santa Is Coming To Hanover Park. On Friday, December 4, 2020 from 4-8 pm, Santa will be driving around town to wave a safe and socially distanced hello to Hanover Park families.

She can help with Business Plans, sales projections, marketing, access to capital, expansion plans, structuring requests for financing, and more.     C.O.N.E.C.T. Committee On Networking Education and Community Teamwork C.O.N.E.C.T. serves as a representation of businesses in the community. Members provide valuable assistance in growth of economic development through creative strategies and feedback on business-related regulations. Our focus is to encourage business growth and economic development. Goal of C.O.N.E.C.T. is to serve as a business liaison, support economic development events, help businesses to network with each other and connect with the Village through annual networking opportunities. Local businesses are welcome to attend C.O.N.E.C.T. meetings to learn about ongoing Village activities.     The Hanover Park Development Commission is a public hearing body that makes recommendations to the president and the board of trustees. The Commission utilizes the Village’s Comprehensive Plan recommendations to provide long-term policy direction. It conducts public hearings on all petitions for zoning variations, special uses, planned unit developments, rezonings (zoning map amendments), and text amendments.     The purpose of the Historical Committee is to promote educational, cultural, economic and general welfare of the community by ensuring the preservation of structures and properties that represent the cultural heritage of the Village of Hanover Park and of the community prior to the Village's incorporation. Projects include scanning of historic photo's, organizing of historic materials and artifacts and maintenance of two historic cemeteries and documentation of plots, including mapping.
